Gregg N. Frierson has been named South Carolina Market Executive for Bank of America Private Bank. In this role, he leads the overall efforts of the Charleston, Columbia and Greenville based teams to deliver the right solutions and products to high-net-worth individuals, families, family foundations, endowments and other non-profit organizations.
Frierson has spent his career providing financial solutions for people, companies and organizations. Since joining Bank of America in 1985 as part of a South Carolina predecessor bank, he has served in a number of leadership positions in Commercial Banking, Commercial Credit and the Private Bank and has developed extensive relationships with executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, boards and other key individuals across the state.
Active in many philanthropic and community organizations over the years, Frierson has been especially passionate about higher education. He has previously served as Chairman of the Board of Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, Inc., and completed 15 years of service as a Member of the Claflin University Board of Trustees, a private HBCU in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He has served on the Wake Forest University Alumni Council and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Presbyterian College.
