Nicole Robert Joins the GMK Interiors Team
COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 17, 2020 – GMK is proud to announce that Nicole Robert has joined GMK’s interiors division as a procurement coordinator. Her primary responsibilities are coordinating and reconciling all furnishing procurements for design teams from initial purchase order development through delivery, inspection, and final installation on the division’s projects across all market sectors. Ms. Robert offers five years of previous experience in the interior design industry as a design assistant, primarily for firms serving residential and select commercial markets.

Prior to joining GMK Interiors, Ms. Robert gained expertise in the planning and development of furniture and fixture installations for diverse projects that include multiple sorority residences on campuses nationwide. Her duties included procurement and billing for more than 40 installation projects per year valued at over $1M, as well as detailed reconciliation of design specifications/quantities and delivered FF&E. Ms. Robert is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in retailing. She is further an active community volunteer with the Junior League of Columbia and the Alzheimer’s Association, in addition to her membership in her local neighborhood association.
