Over 2000 parents and students attended the OnePalmetto Scholarship and College Fair

On behalf of PACE Scholarship Academy, the OnePalmetto Scholarship and College Fair was hosted at Sumter High School, one of the largest high schools in the State, on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

This free event was as a direct opportunity for parents, high school, college, and graduate students to interact with scholarship foundations and college admissions counselors on what they look for in potential recipients. Breakout sessions also took place throughout the day to include a panel of students who have/currently are going to college on a full ride at various universities across the United States.

“Full rides are possible,” says Founder of PACE Scholarship Academy and Certified Professional School Counselor, Melinda Mihlbauer. “This event was created to not only spread awareness about the many scholarship and financial aid assistance out there, but to encourage parents and students to start as early as possible to secure such results through time, effort, and support.

Approximately 75 college admissions counselors and scholarship foundations interacted with over 2000 parents and students to start/continue a very important conversation - how to obtain a college/graduate education without the fear of financial barriers.

On behalf of PACE Scholarship Academy, multiple $500 scholarships were awarded at the event in addition to several laptop and printer giveaways.

Registration for the next OnePalmetto Scholarship and College Fair in Greenville, SC will close on March 22, 2019 for free admission. Follow the business page on Facebook @PaceScholarshipAcademy for more information and updates!
