The Palmetto Health board of directors elected the following officers: Beverly D. Chrisman, retired from South Carolina state government and self-employed political consultant, chair; Paul V. Fant, Sr., president, Fant Consulting, vice chair; John M. Brabham, Jr., Berkshire Hathaway John M. Brabham Real Estate, secretary; and Sara B. Fisher, Business Development, SC Student Loan, treasurer.
Re-elected members of the Palmetto Health board include: James A. Bennett, Mid-South Area Executive vice president, First Citizens Bank; William L. Cogdill, Jr., owner and president, Cogdill Carpets; and Edward Duffy, Jr., M.D., radiation oncologist, Palmetto Health Tuomey Cancer Treatment Center.
Palmetto Health's new board members are William F. Hogue, Ed.D., senior clinical professor of Information Science and executive consultant for Enterprise Initiatives, University of South Carolina; Cynthia S. Ottone, director, Policy Measures, National Committee for Quality Assurance; Satish M. Prabhu, M.D., anesthesiologist, Carolina Anesthesiology Associates; and Ronald T. Scott, owner, Fantasy Island Child Care Center.
