Palmetto Health recognizes Men’s Health Day: “Take Charge of Your Health”

Palmetto Health will hold a Men’s Health Symposium Saturday, June 9, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., at Trinity Education Community and Convention Center, 2523 Richland St. All men are invited to a free breakfast, free health screenings and morning of health discussions. Women also are welcome to attend and accompany the men, as there will be a separate ladies’ lounge featuring chair massages, refreshments and motivational discussions.

Screenings will be held prior to the event, along with a screening from 7-9 a.m. on the day of the event. Health professionals will discuss men’s health issues, the opioid epidemic, stroke and diabetes, as well as answer questions from the audience.
