Columbia, SC - May 29th, 2018: Palmetto Shirt Co. has been licensed by Coastal Carolina University to sell licensed apparel starting in June. The addition of Coastal Carolina to the Palmetto Shirt Co. line, that includes the University of South Carolina and Clemson University, gives PSC a strong brand for the Grand Strand area and a growing University in the state.
Palmetto Shirt Co. began printing licensed apparel in 2001 with the University of South Carolina and added Clemson University shortly after. The addition of Coastal Carolina adds a new face to the offering and reaches a new and growing market. "We're excited to get licensed by Coastal Carolina," stated Rusty Koss, owner of Palmetto Shirt Co. "Our retailers along the Grand Strand have asked that we apply and we're happy Coastal gave their approval."
Starting in June, Palmetto Shirt Co. will begin designing products specifically aimed at Coastal Carolina fans, students and alumni. Fans can expect to see Palmetto Shirt Co. products in stores starting in late July and in time for the upcoming football season.
