November 13th, 2018 – Columbia, SC – Palmetto Shirt Co. ranked 14th in collegiate apparel sales for local licensees according to IMG College Licensing for the fiscal year ending June of 2018. In 17 years of selling and manufacturing Clemson University and University of South Carolina merchandise, this is the 13th appearance on the top 25 list for Palmetto Shirt Co.
Palmetto Shirt Co. has been producing licensed Gamecocks and Tiger merchandise since 2001 and first appeared on the top 25 list in 2002. With the exception of a handful of years when Palmetto Shirt Co. was not eligible for the category, it has been one of the top local licensees in the nation.
“The past year has been another success for us in licensed sales,” said Rusty Koss of Palmetto Shirt Co. “It always helps when Clemson and South Carolina have continued success on the football field and in the public eye.”
