Performance Matters is thrilled to welcome Blake Montgomery to the team. After ten years in commercial banking, where Blake worked exclusively with independent and family-owned businesses, Blake is excited to acquire a business built on reputation and run by an industry leading team of professionals. Throughout his career, Blake has focused on value-add advice and making sustainable changes to improve independent businesses and help them compete.

Steve has been the Chief Strategy Officer of Performance Matters for the past 7 years and will continue to lead the Performance Matters team with a passion and commitment to the industry that has been a hallmark of his career. Performance Matters congratulates Troy Lovins on his retirement. Troy founded Performance Matters in 2006 and has made the decision to sell the business and retire from the industry he loves, for a passion he has been led to pursue. Troy, and his wife Nanette, recently founded Hope 4 His Children, a 501c3 focused on helping mentor young boys to become the leaders of their homes and communities. Troy will engage full time in this vision to help develop the leaders of tomorrow.
