Luke McCary – Architecture
Luke, a designer and project leader, serves on the American Institute of Architect’s Strategic Council and is an active community speaker. He takes great pride in collaborating on solutions that address today’s issues and provide a strong foundation for the future of Pond’s education, corporate and government clients to build upon. The impact of his architecture can be found at institutions such as: The City of Columbia, The Citadel, Midlands Technical College and the University of South Carolina. Most recently, Pond’s architectural team’s submission to “Play with Your City 2019: Reimagining Lady” was selected by the Columbia Design League. The design, which showcases local history and artists, will be installed in October in a celebration of Lady Street.

With a passion for projects that serve the Midlands, ranging from government interior renovations at the SC State Governor’s Mansion, Richmond County Libraries and Founders University of South Carolina baseball stadium to corporate interior design, Anna and the Pond interior design team provide a diverse skillset for their clients. In addition to serving our community with thoughtful design, Anna and her team were the driving force behind the interiors for the
award-winning Hotel Trundle, Columbia’s premier boutique hotel, owned and operated by locals Marcus Munse and Rita Patel.
Tom Margle - Engineering
Tom Margle leads Pond's Engineering team, Columbia SC
Tom brings over 35 years of civil design, heavy transportation, environmental services and program management expertise to Pond. Tom is dedicated to providing pragmatic, sensible solutions for our military branches, department of transportation and commercial clients located throughout the state. As a graduate from The Citadel and a former U.S. Navy Seabee Officer, Tom’s love for South Carolina runs deep and his exceptional skills in the planning, design and construction of complex infrastructure projects will be beneficial as our cities grow and become more connected.
In addition to serving the Upstate, Midlands, Pee Dee and the Lowcountry, the experience of this team can be seen across the Southeast and continues to be an integral asset to Pond.
