The bilingual cookbook, featuring dishes in both English and Spanish, is a collection of submissions by area school districts, Latinx restaurants, law enforcement and other community leaders. The publication is viewable here: https://issuu.com/richlandlibrary/docs/una_voz_cookbook-2021__1_.
With a focus on community engagement and connection, the ¡Qué Rico! Community Cookbook aims to highlight the culinary talents of its contributors - some of whom lost the opportunity to sell their cuisine at different local venues and bring in supplemental income amid the pandemic.
To learn more about the ¡Qué Rico! Community Cookbook, be sure to pick up a copy of the library's Access magazine" richlandlibrary.com/access. Issue 004 spotlights one of the contributors as well as their Stuffed Honduran Pastelitos recipe.
