Columbia, SC- Celebrating over 5 years of ConnectEd, a White House Initiative to break educational barriers, Richland Library distributes free library cards to every student in Richland County School District One and Richland School District Two.
This year, more than 32,000 students across 92 schools will receive a library card, providing them free access to every resource that Richland Library has to offer, including but not limited to:
Downloadable books, magazines, music & movies
Broadband connectivity & wireless access
To date, Richland Library has created 164,000 library accounts for Richland County students.
Richland Library’s continued partnership with Richland County School District One and Richland School District Two allows students to learn freely beyond the classroom and explore an abundance of educational resources in Richland Library’s physical and digital spaces.
