Tapp's Arts Center is pleased to announce the return of the Richland School District 1 K-12 Art Show for Youth Art Month at Tapp's. The show is broken up in two exhibitions - 8th through 12th grades and K through 7th grades. Come to Tapp's between the dates of March 1 & March 13 to enjoy original art from a variety of Richland One middle and high school students (8th grade - 12th grade). A reception and award ceremony will be held for this group on March 13. The exhibition will end with Richland One's Primary students (K - 7th grade), with their exhibition on view from March 14 through March 27, with a reception and award ceremony to be held on March 27th.
For the last four years, Richland one has delivered exceptional artwork from the next generations of Columbia's creative community. From detailed self-portraits to 3-D cheeseburgers, each student has brought their own skills and technical mastery to transform the gallery into a world of imagination and delight.
Richland School District One consists of 40+ elementary, middle and high schools dedicated to encouraging creative exploration and problem solving. Tapp's has been thrilled to partner with these schools and is anticipating another wonderful show of youth art.
Tapp’s Arts Center is giant artistic laboratory focused on community engagement. We encourage artistic agency through exhibitions, cultural events, workshops, classes, and studios to help Columbia create, learn and grow.
