Richland Library Amplifies LGBTQ+ Voices for SC Pride Week

Columbia, SC - In support of Famously Hot SC Pride, Richland Library is hosting a virtual conversation with Jodie Patterson, chair of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Board.

On Wednesday, October 20, at 6:30 p.m. Patterson, an internationally recognized activist/speaker/author, will join registered participants via Zoom for a conversation about identity, gender and parenting. Patterson captures her family’s experience in her books, The Bold World: A Memoir of Family and Transformation and Born Ready: The True Story of a Boy Named Penelope, and will provide a candid discussion in this unique intersection of SC Pride Week and Richland Library’s Let’s Talk Race series.

Participants can register at RichlandLibrary.com.
