While the holiday season may look a little different this year, Richland Library is spreading some cheer with festive performances in the coming weeks that are free and open to the public.
Registration is not required. Just tune into the library's Facebook Page and enjoy a front-row seat to the following virtual programs:
A Charles Dickens Christmas
3 - 4 p.m., Sunday, December 13
British actor Howard Burnham performs his popular adaptation of the holiday classic, "A Christmas Carol." He has presented his popular Dickens' A Christmas Carol show seasonally across the country for more than two decades.
Evening Arts: 'Tis the Season to be Jazzy
7 - 8 p.m., Friday, December 18
Celebrate the season with local jazz vocalist and poet Eboni Ramm, accompanied by a full band and the swinging sounds of notable holiday jazz songs.
3 - 4:30 p.m., Sunday, December 20
The Palmetto Chamber Orchestra is featuring a mix of community musicians and artists who are coming together to celebrate not only the holiday season but also Columbia's incredible local talent, led by Artistic and Music Director Suzanna Pavlovsky.
