NEWBERRY, S.C. – Samsung welcomes Mr. Jeremy Lee as President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Home Appliances America (SEHA) in Newberry, South Carolina. Lee has been with Samsung for almost three decades. Before joining SEHA, Lee served as President and CEO of Samsung Electronics (SEH) in Hungary for two years.

The Newberry facility became the company’s first U.S.-based home appliance manufacturing facility. It’s an essential part of the local economy generating nearly $500 million in capital investment for the region, produced over 5 million washing machines and now directly supports over 1,400 jobs for local residents as part of its ongoing operations.
