SC Chamber Announces 2018 HR Professional of the Year & HR Rising Star

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Chamber announced the recipients of the HR Professional of the Year and HR Rising Star at the 28th Annual HR Conference on Thursday evening in Isle of Palms, SC. The awards were sponsored by Ogletree Deakins.

The HR Professional of the Year Award was presented to Bob Lowe (Owner and Consultant, People Make the Difference, LLC).

“We are proud to present the HR Professional of the Year award to Bob Lowe” said South Carolina Chamber President & CEO Ted Pitts. “Throughout his career, Bob has used his skills and expertise to help countless organizations reach their potential. This award honors the best our state has to offer in the field of Human Resources, and Bob’s longstanding success and commitment to excellence in his work makes him truly deserving of this honor.”

The HR Rising Star Award was presented to Kevin G. DeLoach, SHRM-CP (Human Resources Generalist, South Carolina Education Lottery).

“Kevin DeLoach is truly a rising star in the Human Resources profession” said Pitts. “Kevin’s energy and talent have served him well throughout his career with the SC Education Lottery, and his dedication to making a positive impact on his organization through talent acquisition is clear. The Chamber congratulates him and looks forward to watching him continue to thrive.”
