COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Chamber announced the recipients of the HR Professional of the Year and HR Rising Star at the DisruptHR event on Tuesday evening in Greenville, SC. The awards were sponsored by Ogletree Deakins and Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A.
The HR Professional of the Year Award was presented to Kelly Mendez-Scheib (Vice President of Human Resources, Tindall Corp.).
“We are proud to present the HR Professional of the Year award to Kelly Mendez-Scheib,” said South Carolina Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ted Pitts. “Kelly is a leader in her profession and has served the Tindall Corporation and the team there well. This award honors the best our state has to offer in the field of Human Resources, and Kelly is truly deserving of this honor.”
The HR Rising Star Award was presented to Ricaye Harris (Director, Diversity and Inclusion, Milliken & Company).
“Ricaye Harris is truly a rising star in the Human Resources profession,” said Pitts. “She has spent her career in a variety of HR professions at Milliken and her commitment to making a difference in her organization is clear. The State Chamber congratulates Ricaye and looks forward to watching her continue to grow and thrive in her career.”
