SC Photojournalists Join Richland Library to Discuss Capturing Stories in 2020

People walkingWhen it comes to capturing stories in 2020, get the perspective behind the camera. Join Richland Library for Artist-in-Residence (AiR) Presents: Through the Lens - Photojournalism in 2020 from 7 - 8:30 p.m., Thursday, November 19. Please register to attend this online program, which is free and open to the public.

The library is leading a panel discussion with our current AiR, Crush Rush, to explore the life of a photojournalist in the age of COVID-19, during racial and political unrest, and as an evolved art over time. Hear first-hand accounts from:

Sean Rayford - a freelance photojournalist and commercial photographer, based in Columbia, SC.

Lauren Petracca - a staff photographer at The Post and Courier in Charleston.

Grace Beahm - a staff photographer and assistant visuals editor at The Post and Courier in Charleston.
