Columbia, SC—South Carolina’s leading small business organization has announced two new members on its Board of Directors.
Heather Eason is the founder and CEO of Select Power Systems, LLC, a full-service engineering firm serving utilities, commercial and industrial facilities, alternative energy, government entities, and supports larger engineering firms. Select Power Systems is a certified women-owned small business. Prior to forming her own business, Heather had a very successful career with Siemens where she was the Director of Engineering for the Energy Management Division.
Dr. Kimico Myers is the owner and President of TeamLogic IT, which provides IT managed services as well as networking, security, cloud/data, email and telecommunication IT services. He has more than 20 years’ experience as senior technology leader and has worked in industries that include state government, banking, manufacturing and telecommunication. Kimico is also a volunteer member of SCORE Midlands Chapter serving as Workshop Coordinator.
“We are very excited about Heather and Kimico joining our Board,” said Frank Knapp Jr., President and CEO of the Small Business Chamber. “Adding expertise in the areas of energy engineering and IT will be very beneficial to our advocacy.”
The South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce is a statewide advocacy organization founded in 2000. With over 10,000 small business and entrepreneur supporters, it has successfully worked to make South Carolina more small business friendly in areas such as healthcare, taxation, regulation, worker training, energy/conservation, workers’ compensation and economic development.
