The South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association (SCDTAA) held their 50th Annual meeting November 9-12, 2017 at The Cloister at Sea Island, Georgia. During this meeting, new officers were inducted into office. They are
President – Anthony W. Livoti of Murphy & Grantland of Columbia, SC
President-Elect – James B. Hood of the Hood Law Firm of Charleston, SC
Treasurer – A. Johnston Cox of Gallivan White & Boyd of Columbia, SC
Secretary – Sarah E. (Wetmore) Butler of Carlock Copeland of Charleston, SC
The purpose of the SCDTAA is to promote justice, professionalism and integrity in the civil justice system by bringing together South Carolina attorneys dedicated to the defense of civil actions.
