COLUMBIA, SC - Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM) is moving to 1530 Main Street, Suite 104 in downtown Newberry, South Carolina.
"We are grateful to grow our footprint in Newberry County," Mary Dell Hayes, STSM Executive Director, said. "The community has been incredibly supportive of STSM's mission to advocate for and support survivors of sexual assault and to educate the community to identify and prevent sexual violence."
STSM's new office will house two full-time licensed counselors who provide trauma-informed clinical care to survivors and their loved ones impacted by sexual violence, as well as a full-time volunteer coordinator who recruits and trains STSM's diverse group of volunteers to serve as Advocates, Speaker's Bureau and Office Volunteers.
"Support from generous community members makes it possible for STSM to serve hundreds of survivors in Newberry County," Hayes said.
