Soda City FC to begin its inaugural season in the United Premier Soccer League

Columbia, SC – Soda City FC (“SCFC”) will begin its inaugural season in the United Premier Soccer League (“UPSL”) in under a week. The new semi-pro soccer club will begin play in the Mid Atlantic Southeast Conference along with the Savannah Clovers (Savannah, GA), Sparta 20/20 FC (Spartanburg, SC), Broncos United FC (Concord, NC), San Lee FC (Sanford, NC), and Union FC (Monroe, NC). The 10 game Regular Season will begin on Saturday September 15th away on the road against Sparta 20/20 at Spartanburg Day School before returning back to Columbia on September 22nd for the home opener against San Lee FC. There will be 5 home games this season that will include various food trucks, Soccer Shots Kids Zone with bounce house slide, The City Lounge featuring River Rat Brewery beer, on-site Merchandise store, and Pregame/halftime giveaways.

All the matches will be at Palmetto Health Fields at Saluda Shoals Park (6071 St. Andrews Rd. Columbia, SC 29212). Matches kickoff at 7:00 pm and gates open at 6:00 pm.

Season Tickets available on SCFC website and Tickets are available at the gate:
Adult ticket: $7
Military and First responders- (with valid ID): $5
Central League Member Ticket: $5
Students(with valid student ID): $3
Children 7-12 years: $3
Children 6 and Under: FREE

Soda City FC (SCFC) is an American Soccer club currently based in Columbia, S.C., and a new member of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL). SCFC plays in the UPSL Pro Premier league.

Founded in 2018, SCFC can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
