South Carolina State Museum Foundation Announces New Partnership with Still Hopes

March 29, 2022 (COLUMBIA, S.C.) — The South Carolina State Museum Foundation announces that Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community, Columbia’s premier senior living community, will be the presenting sponsor of the museum’s Friends of Finn membership program. The support from Still Hopes will help the Foundation fulfill its mission to provide the State Museum with the important resources it needs to bring exciting, engaging and educational programs and exhibitions to South Carolina.

"Still Hopes is proud to support the South Carolina State Museum as a community partner and the presenting sponsor of the Friends of Finn program," says Stewart Rawson, director of marketing, Still Hopes. "We are committed to making our community a better place, and we believe investing in our state's culture and attractions is an important part of enriching lives."

The South Carolina State Museum, the state’s largest and most comprehensive museum, offers guests the chance to explore four floors of exhibitions showcasing the state's cultural history, art, natural history and the latest in science and technology. In addition to welcoming guests from all over the state and the country, the museum also provides free educational programming and free general admission to students across South Carolina.

"Not only do we get to have a direct impact on the State Museum, but we're also able to bring exciting and unique experiences to our residents and staff. We look forward to supporting our state's largest museum and being engaged in their ongoing exhibits and programs," says Rawson.

Still Hopes is the only Episcopal-sponsored, all-inclusive, nonprofit Life Plan Community in the greater Columbia area. As a Life Plan Community, Still Hopes offers engaged, independent senior living, along with many levels of care as health needs change — ensuring ongoing support should residents need it.
