(COLUMBIA, S.C. — Feb. 27, 2020) South State Bank today announced two new team members who will expand the Private Wealth team with their expertise and insight.

Jacci Giglio joins South State Private Wealth as a vice president and wealth advisor, responsible for administering personal trusts, investment and retirement accounts. She works closely with clients to cultivate relationships and develop comprehensive financial and estate planning solutions.
She began her career in wealth management and trust administration in 2011. A native of New York, Giglio most recently worked as a senior relationship manager for Synovus.
Giglio earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and a juris doctorate from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, also graduating from Cannon Financial Institute.
Richard Linden, South State Advisory’s new senior portfolio manager, will employ his diverse background of nearly 20 years of financial advisory and wealth management experience. He focuses on developing investment strategies and constructing investment portfolios to meet client objectives within South State’s comprehensive Private Wealth offerings.
Linden served clients in South Carolina and throughout the Southeast as regional manager and senior portfolio manager for Synovus. He’s also held the positions of senior portfolio analyst for a multi-billion dollar asset management firm, as well as private client financial advisor for a leading national brokerage firm.
Linden earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University. His community service roles include former president of the Harvard Club of South Carolina, student mentor at The Citadel, volunteer high school football coach and advisory council member for Historic Columbia.
Giglio and Linden will both serve clients from the South State Bank location at 520 Gervais Street in Columbia, S.C.
