State Museum to Light 55ft. Pumpkin Planetarium for Halloween

WHO: South Carolina State Museum

WHAT: The South Carolina State Museum invites the media and public to help celebrate the annual lighting of its Pumpkin Planetarium.

Each year the 55ft. BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina planetarium dome is lit by Ambient Media to look like a giant jack-o-lantern. It's brilliant orange glow can be see from both Huger and Gervais Streets, lighting up the Vista in celebration of Halloween and the Museum of Oz.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience the interactive Magical Maze of Oz, the Wizard of Oz 4D Experience and night sky viewing in the Boeing Observatory.y.

WHEN: Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
