The Aiken Antique Show Returns for Its 23rd Year

AIKEN, S.C. – The Aiken Antique Show celebrates its 23rd year during the highly anticipated return of this special, one-of-a-kind event! Held at Aiken Center for the Arts on February 3-5, 2023, the Aiken Antique Show features 21 antique dealer booths from around the Southeast, incredible guest lectures, Cocktail and Collector’s Preview Party, memorable lunches in the Collectors’ Café, and a delicious Sunday brunch.

Visitors from across the state are invited to meet, learn from and shop with incredible exhibitors from all around the Southeast. From one-of-a-kind estate jewelry that hold stories of the past, to luxurious French, Italian and English Furniture, to Oriental Rugs to Fine Linens and Vintage clothing, antique lovers will discover heirlooms to treasure for years to come. To shop, show tickets can be purchased online for $20 and are valid for the duration of the show.

On Friday, February 3 at 9:30am, sit down with Rebecca Wesson Darwin, co-founder and CEO of Garden & Gun, and her good friend, John Pope of John Pope Antiques in Charleston, for a guest lecture. They’ll talk about “Coming Home”—how Rebecca came back to South Carolina after a successful publishing career in New York and how she made her home in Charleston, SC—and about what the editors of magazines brainstorm when covering the world of Southern homes and design. Plus, there will be a fun discussion of Southern women and what makes them so unique.

On Saturday, February 4, at 9:30am, be inspired to always have beautiful flowers in your home as Kirk Moore, Landscape Architect and Garden Historian at Oakleaf Gardens, shares “Tools of the Trade.” He’ll discuss how to properly condition specific flowers to last longer, correct methods for cleaning and preparing vases, and many other secrets to floral designing success.

Round out a weekend of learning and antiquing by enjoying the Shrimp and Grits Brunch and Bloody Mary Bar on Sunday, where you can continue to socialize with other shoppers and dealers from around the region.

The Aiken Antique Show is the only fundraising event for Aiken Center for the Arts’, making it a wonderful opportunity to support the nonprofit in their mission to inspire, engage, and educate by providing unique visual and performing arts experiences for all ages. Proceeds from the show and sale enable Aiken Center for the Arts to continue to offer unparalleled learning experiences to interested children and adults throughout the CSRA.
