Beard, a University of South Carolina graduate, is a member of Colliers’ industrial brokerage team in Columbia along with partners Chuck Salley, SIOR, Dave Mathews, SIOR and John Peebles. Their team, which is the leader in the central South Carolina region, specializes in leasing, user sales and investment sales of industrial properties. Their multifaceted platform gives them a unique insight into market conditions for all types of industrial properties. In February 2020, the team brokered the largest single acquisition of properties in South Carolina in over 10 years, according to Costar.
Beard has collaborated on lease and sale transactions valued at over $350 million and totaling approximately 14.6 million square feet of space over the course of his career. He is a candidate for his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, a prestigious designation in commercial real estate that represents proven expertise in financial, market and investment analysis.
