COLUMBIA, SC — Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce the following new hires in its Columbia, South Carolin region.
Jesus Velazquez joined Thomas & Hutton as a Civil Designer. Jesus obtained his degree in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina. He previously worked for a civil engineering consulting firm in Columbia prior to joining T&H. As a Designer, Jesus prepares site development construction drawings, engineering designs, and permit applications for commercial and industrial projects across South Carolina.

Jenny Painter joined Thomas & Hutton as a Civil Designer. Jenny graduated from the University of South Carolina with her degree in civil engineering in 2022. She joins T&H following engineering roles in residential and commercial land development as well as transportation. Jenny is a certified Engineer In Training (EIT) and is an active member of the University of South Carolina Alumni Association. As a Designer, Jenny prepares site development construction drawings, engineering designs, and permit applications for commercial and industrial projects across South Carolina.
