Tickets are now on sale for Columbia's most elegant, fun and interesting art gala - 52 Windows: An Evening of Art to Benefit Mirci. The perfect date or friends night out, 52 Windows will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 18th at 701 Whaley. It features more than 100 original works of art up for auction at starting bids that are lower than you would normally pay in a gallery.
The event's 10 featured artists include Ann Anrrich, Ija Charles, Christina Clark, Nina Knowlton, Ginny Merett, Tariq Mix, Aldo Muzzarelli, Wanda Spong, George Stone and Lani Stringer. Diverse in age, experience, artistic expression and ethnicity, each artist has entered 8-10 pieces in the auction. A dozen other "Friend of Mirci" artists have entered one work each in the auction.
While browsing and bidding on the one-of-a-kind art for your home or office, you’ll enjoy an open bar, delicious hors d'oeuvres from Aberdeen Catery and live music. You'll also meet the artists and learn more about the urgent work of Mirci.
