Tom Moore Appointed to the Better Business Bureau’s Board of Directors
(Columbia, SC – January 31, 2020)-- The BBB Serving Central SC and Charleston announced that the president and owner of Edgewater Sports Marketing, Tom Moore, will be joining their board of directors.
“We are excited to add Tom Moore to our board of directors, he is sure to be an incredible asset to the team,” said Chris Hadley, President and CEO of the BBB serving Central SC and Charleston.
“I have always been a firm believer and supporter of the Better Business Bureau. Being appointed to the Better Business Bureau’s Board of Directors is a great honor for me personally as well as our company Edgewater Sports Marketing,” said Tom Moore “My personal goal is to make sure that businesses particularly in the low country have a voice they can count on and I take that very seriously.”
Background on Tom Moore
Moore is a USAF veteran and has been involved with high school and collegiate sports for over 30 years. The former co-captain for the Citadel bulldog’s football team went on to be an assistant coach at Clemson University before becoming head coach at Gardner-Webb University and eventually for his alma mater. During his coaching career he was honored to be the 1984 Southern Conference Coach of the Year.
Moore currently resides in Charleston SC where he is the president and owner of Edgewater Sports Marketing. According to their website the mission for ESM is to, “Develop marketing partnerships with local businesses to increase the awareness of what these companies provide for the local community as well as being able to provide the local schools with additional funding for their athletic programs.”
Outside of his business, Moore’s hobbies include enjoying the outdoors, golfing, fishing and traveling with his wife.
