Two Burnette Shutt & McDaniel Attorneys in New Edition of Super Lawyers

COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – Two employment attorneys from Burnette Shutt & McDaniel are listed in Super Lawyers 2018, the latest edition of an annual guide that rates attorneys across the nation.

Super Lawyers selected M. Malissa Burnette and Janet Rhodes after a stringent process that includes independent research as well as evaluations from peer attorneys in their practice areas. Each year Super Lawyers includes only about 5 percent of the attorneys nominated in the guide.

Burnette was recognized in the practice area of employment litigation, plaintiffs. She’s been included annually in Super Lawyers since 2008. Rhodes was honored as a Rising Star in employment and labor law. That designation is for attorneys who have practiced less than 10 years or who are younger than 40. Rhodes has been recognized yearly since 2014.

Super Lawyers is distributed nationally to more than 13 million readers. Companion publications highlight attorneys in each state, with South Carolina Super Lawyers reaching more than 100,000 readers a year.
