“It is gratifying to again receive this recognition for our hard work in helping South Carolinians who have had their lives disrupted by personal injuries,” said Twombley. “It would not be possible without the help of my dedicated staff.”

This is his fifth year being recognized as a Super Lawyer, starting in 2015. Before that, he was named as a Rising Star in 2013.

Twombley, a 2003 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, focuses his practice on serious personal injury, high-stakes estate and probate litigation, and complex business litigation. He serves clients in Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head. He has the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

Rising Stars recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
