Valentine’s Cinema Returns to Harbison Theatre at MTC with Sabrina plus Dinner & Date Night Giveaway

This year, the ever-popular “Valentine’s Cinema” event returns to Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (HT@MTC) with Sabrina, on Saturday, February 10beginning at 7 PM. HT@MTC is offering a giveaway for five lucky winners featuring tickets to the screening, plus dinner for two courtesy of Homegrown Hospitality, which includes Kaminsky’s Dessert Café, Liberty Tap Room, Liberty on the Lake, Pearlz Oyster Bar, and Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse.

Valentine’s Cinema is an annual event that includes a screening of a classic romance movie at 8 PM, paired with a celebration of the holiday in the HT@MTC lobby prior to the movie. “This year, we’re changing things up a bit,” says Kristin Cobb, the Executive Director of Harbison Theatre at MTC. “There will be a photo booth in the lobby for you to snap a photo of you and your sweetheart, plus a wide array of desserts and bubbles for you to enjoy before the film.”

In this year’s film, Sabrina Fairchild (Audrey Hepburn) is a chauffeur's daughter who grew up with the wealthy Larrabee family. She always had unreciprocated feelings for David (William Holden), the family's younger son and playboy. After returning from Paris, Sabrina has become a glamorous woman who gets David's attention. His older, work-minded brother Linus (Humphrey Bogart) thinks their courtship is bad for the family business and tries to break them up – but then he starts to fall for her too.

Guests can register online to win tickets at HarbisonTheatre.org. Five winners will be selected at random and contest details are listed on the website.
