VETERANS DAY FREE FILM SCREENING
A SOLEMN PROMISE: AMERICA’S MISSING IN ACTION
The Nickelodeon Theater, November 12, 6pm 1605 Main Street

This year North Korea returned the remains of 55 American service personnel listed as Missing in Action (MIA). There are still many more MIA Americans who served in WWII, Korea & Vietnam.
A new film, “A Solemn Promise, America’s Missing in Action”, chronicles the stories of MIAs like these service members and their families. The “Solemn Promise” referred to is the promise made to all service members before they enter into battle – “We will leave no one behind”. Important words to the troops and their family members at home, awaiting their return.
This film presents many of the MIA stories. It also documents the activities of the DOD which is on call 24/7 to go anywhere in the world to help locate and return America’s fallen warriors. This film tells what lengths America will go to do this work and honorably bury our missing fallen warriors.
The Col. Jack Van Loan Chapter 303 of the Vietnam Veterans of American (VVA) is proud to sponsor this film showing at The Nickelodeon Theater on our observed Veterans Day and encourages you to attend. The film will be followed by an audience discussion.
