Local campus to participate in national event from 5 to 7 p.m.
COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 4, 2018 – Virginia College in Columbia will host a Community Health Fair Thursday, June 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the campus located at 7201 Two Notch Road. The event is free and open to the public and will feature refreshments, a variety of health-related checks and activities for all ages, including free body mass index screenings, blood pressure checks, first aid and CPR demonstrations, hand washing demonstrations and campus tours. Attendees 18 and older can enter to win a pair of Jabra Elite 65t True Wireless Earbuds in addition to other prizes.
The event is part of Virginia College parent company Education Corporation of America’s national Community Health Fair events being held at 59 other Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute and Virginia College locations throughout 17 states.

The event will also allow attendees to explore programs offered through Virginia College, including: Business Administration, Cosmetology, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Office Specialist, Network Support Technician, Pharmacy Technician and Surgical Technology.
