West Coast bad girl Lil Debbie brings her “My Own Lane” tour to Columbia, SC

COLUMBIA, SC – August 30, 2018 – Lil Debbie, a rap artist with a roughneck style that runs counter to her cool blonde good looks (she's also worked as a model and fashion designer), will headline the “My Own Lane” tour hosted by Love, Peace & Hip-Hop on Thursday, September 6 at Tapp’s Arts Center in Downtown Columbia, SC.

Lil Debbie is best known as being part of the now-defunct group The White Girl Mob, with rappers Kreayshawn and V-Nasty. In 2012, The White Girl Mob hit their peak when they appeared on Kreayshawn's single "Gucci Gucci" and performed in its music video. Debbie started a solo career, releasing a series of singles with rappers RiFF RaFF and former White Girl Mob group member V-Nasty, some of which ended up on her first solo project, a mixtape titled Keep It Lit. In 2015, Debbie released an EP, Home Grown, which featured cameo appearances from Wiz Khalifa and Paul Wall. She returns with this year’s release of My Own Lane.

Soda City’s reigning queen, LaLisa, will offer direct tour support and will be joined by an all-female line up to include Columbia’s own Litty and Charleston newcomer Chels Blaize.

“The ladies were a hit for Family Day, so we decided to do somewhat of a second installment as we gear up for 2019,” said Love, Peace & Hip-Hop founder FatRat Da Czar. “Of course, with Debbie as the headliner, this show is geared for adults, but folks always want to hear what the ladies have to say, especially when it’s raw and uncut.”

Lil Debbie’s “My Own Lane” tour is Thursday, September 6 at Tapp’s Art Center (1644 Main St. Columbia, SC). Doors open at 8 PM. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.tappsartscenter.com.
