The Lourie Center is hosting southern author Tom Poland at a Wine and Unwind event on Thursday April 26, 6-8 pm for a book release and signing. Tom Poland spent three years and over 10,000 miles driving the back roads for “South Carolina Country Roads”, his new book released April 16.
Come travel the back roads with Tom as he takes you down forgotten country roads to discover the real South Carolina. Tom has collected South Carolina’s crumbling treasures and put them in one place for our posterity, giving them context and honor. Abandoned stores, old train depots, collapsing tenant homes, forgotten villages (and more) will be featured in his presentation.
Wine and snacks served. $5 suggested donation. Open to all.
