Please join us for First Thursday at Richland Library from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., Thursday, February 6 and enjoy live painting in The Gallery of our Main location (1431 Assembly Street).
Each month, the program, which is free and open to the public, features a new local artist. You have the opportunity to watch as they work, illustrating their talents and creative processes in an open space. You can also enter a drawing to win an original piece by the featured artist.
Richland Library is selecting Alejandro García Lemos as the first featured artist. He's the founder of Palmetto Luna Arts, a non-profit organization that promotes Latino arts and cultures in South Carolina. His exhibit, Bitácora/Travelogue, is also on display in The Gallery until February 28.
